The story is view from 3 points of views: the assassin, Jean François and Valérie. Watching the movie in Black and white centainly adds more dramatic effect to the audience. The style of the film also follow the school of Gus Van Sant’s style, where everything is set up to give an atmospheric air, contemplative camera and characters. It is a strong and very intriguing film that should be regarded as one of the most interesting Canadian movies for 2009.
